Who we are…

Muscateers Hash House Harriers is a small ‘closed’ Family-Friendly Hash group located in Muscat, the capital city of the beautiful Sultanate of Oman.

We are a stand-alone H3 group and not affliated with, or connected to, any other H3 Group in Oman. For details of other Hash groups in the area please refer to the Gotothehash website.

We meet every second Friday, late in the afternoon, with the emphasis on Fun, Friendship and Fitness whilst upholding H3 traditions in a family friendly way.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of nationality, gender, or religion etc. as per the ethos of the Hash House Harriers.

Our History –

During the 2020/21 Pandemic in the Sultanate of Oman, group activities were banned to try to control the spread of the Covid 19 virus. To continue with the H3 whilst complying with the then current regulations in the Sultanate, several Hashers located in Muscat set up ‘virtual’ Hashes. These took the form of solo trails along with Zoom gatherings, and were attended by local and international Hashers, including those who had been members of the defunct Muscat and Jebel H3s.

A temporary Hash group was set up on Instagram under the tag ‘Muscat Streetstalkers H3’ and the virtual meets, along with solo trails, continued into 2021.

Over the following few years, many of our members moved on and, much like the Pandemic itself, the Instagram page became consigned to history. Recently however, new and old Hashers in the Sultanate have expressed their want/need for another H3 group and in April 2023, Muscat Streetstalkers H3 was resurrected under the new tag of Muscateers Hash House Harriers, or MusH3 for short.

The first MusH3 Meet took place on 1st September 2023.
